Post-Operative Care and Recovery

Recovery is a critical part of any surgical process. Our team provides detailed instructions, follow-up appointments, and support to ensure pets heal safely and comfortably. We take the time to answer questions, address concerns, and provide guidance on pain management, nutrition, and activity restrictions to help pets return to their normal routines quickly.

Because we provide out-patient care only, all pets must be discharged by 4pm. Please be aware that there are no 24/7 veterinary hospitals on Martha’s Vineyard, and limited after hours emergency care, so some treatments and post-operative care may need to take place at an off-island advanced facility.
